Privacy information for RepBeacon’s website

How the public website tools handle information, and what to check before using automated campaigns.

Website information updated 13 September 2026. This page covers the public marketing website and the tools described below; it is not a data processing agreement for the separate RepBeacon application.

Contact

For questions about information you provide to RepBeacon, write to silvano@repbeacon.co.uk.

Free audit and browser tools

The reputation self-audit, calculators and review link generator perform their calculations in your browser. The audit does not submit your entered figures, store them in browser storage or sign you up for marketing. The website server receives ordinary requests needed to deliver pages; hosting logs and retention depend on the hosting configuration.

AI response generator

If you choose to generate AI replies, the review text, selected tone and sector are sent to RepBeacon’s response endpoint and then to Anthropic to generate the reply drafts. Do not paste customer identifiers, medical information or confidential details. Contact us about the processing provider and retention before sending personal data; do not assume immediate deletion.

Email contact

If you email us, your email provider and the receiving provider process your address and message. We use the information to handle your enquiry. Only include information needed for that purpose.

Subscription payments

Pro checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe collects the payment and billing information needed to process your subscription. RepBeacon receives subscription and payment status and customer contact details to handle billing and arrange setup. We do not collect full card details on this website. Read Stripe’s privacy information.

External services

Links to Google, the RepBeacon application or another provider open that provider’s service, whose own privacy information applies. Check the application’s terms and data processing information before uploading customer records.

Your choices and requests

You can use the free self-audit without providing contact details. Contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion or other applicable data protection rights. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Business responsibilities for campaigns

Built with UK privacy compliance in mind. Each business must still assess the lawful basis, transparency, contact permissions, retention and applicable PECR rules. Where a message constitutes direct marketing, consent or a valid exception may be required. An unsubscribe link alone does not make a campaign compliant.
