1. Audit: where you stand today
We research the keywords customers use to find businesses like yours in your area, audit your reviews and reputation, your Google Business Profile and your website, and benchmark three local competitors on rating, review count and Google Maps position. That benchmark becomes your baseline, so you can see change over time.
Google Maps visibility study
Your Google Maps position depends on where the searcher is. We run a geo-grid rank scan of your main keywords across your service area, using RepBeacon’s Maps rank grid together with a third-party geo-grid rank-tracking tool, and compare you with your local competitors. You get a heatmap snapshot showing where you appear and where you don’t. It forms part of your baseline and we repeat the scan at 60 days so you can see what has changed. Rankings move for many reasons, most of which only Google controls, so the study measures visibility; it does not guarantee a position.
2. Action plan
You get a short written plan: what to fix on your Google profile and website, which keywords to focus on and a realistic monthly review target based on how many customers you serve.
3. Setup
We connect Google and your other review sites, brand your review page, write your SMS, email and WhatsApp templates, install the review widget on your website, connect your social accounts and configure the SEO and Social agents in your tone. We prepare print-ready QR materials and add your review link to your invoices, email signature and WhatsApp.
4. Your team
We set up the staff leaderboard and give your team a written playbook (PDF) – how and when to ask for reviews, a simple ask-script and a guide to replying to negative reviews – plus short recorded video walkthroughs they can watch any time. Rewards are for staff effort only, never for customers in exchange for a review.
5. The first 60 days
At 7, 30 and 60 days we send you a written progress review by email, comparing results with your baseline and recommending next actions; at 60 days it includes a repeat Google Maps visibility scan. You also get an automated report – monthly on Starter and Pro, weekly on Growth – and alerts if review activity drops. Questions are answered by email and chat; there are no calls or meetings to schedule.
Honest by design
Every customer is offered the public review link; private feedback is always an extra choice, never a filter. Customers decide whether to review and Google controls publication and ranking, so we don’t promise a number of reviews, a rating or a position. You remain responsible for your lawful basis and contact permissions – see our UK GDPR & PECR guide.
